At the last membership meeting is was suggested that we have an area for people looking to rent, sell or buy items, and so the Classifieds page was born.
This month’s meeting is upon us… tomorrow night, 8/20. We are meeting in Tony’s hangar, E4. The BBQs will be hot, and hamburgers available from 18:00, with the meeting following at 19:00.
Speakers will be Ken Schwartz and Richard Bristow, with video and commentary of their trips to AirVenture two weeks ago.
Weather looks to be pleasant… hope to see everyone.
Our next meeting is next Wed the 20th. We will be having a BBQ dinner for $6.00, from 18:00 in hangar E4 (Tony K’s hangar). Please don’t be shy about stepping up and helping – we are short on help!
Ken Schwartz and Richard Bristow will presenting 2 different programs about how they arrived in Oshkosh just a couple of weeks ago. Flying the Fisk arrival from Ken, and the Mooney caravan presented by Richard. There will be lots of great information and pictures from Airventure 2014.
We’ll also be talking about our very first Poker run on Oct 4th. There will be great prizes and lots of fun. It’s suggested that you sign up as soon as possible, as there are only 52 slots available and all Northern California EAA Chapters have been invited.
There is a joint airport day with the LRAA and Young Eagle flights on Oct 18th, and more information will be presented.
We’ve added the meeting minutes for August:
Tomorrow (August 6th) is our monthly BOD meeting. The meeting starts at 18:30, or you can show up at 18:00 if you wish to join everyone for dinner. As always, the meeting is open to general membership.
