Thanks for your help with the hangar

Thanks to all that dropped by the new clubhouse hangar (S-12) today, and an extra thanks to those that helped in the move in/out.

Our new EAA home is looking better already and with new lighting to be installed in the next couple of days, along with several other improvements we will have it in shape for meetings very soon. Remember our EAA Hangar is becoming a great place to hang out with your friends at 1541 before or after your next flight. Drop by and see.

Tomorrow (Sunday Feb 7th) there will be a few of us cleaning and doing some improvement projects between 10:00AM and 2:00PM. You are invited! If you would like to see our new hangar please drop by and say hello.

We have a clubhouse Hangar!

The Board has been busy crunching numbers, and the outcome of extensive discussions and exchange of ideas has brought us to the decision to rent hangar S-12 through the end of August. This is a test to verify that we can meet the financial responsibilities to investigate the purchase of the Hangar at the end of August. There will be much more detail of this decision to be given at our meeting on the 16th, as well as how we can utilize our clubhouse for upcoming meetings, pancake breakfasts, movie nights etc. Everyone is invited to get creative with their ideas for this new opportunity to gather for coffee or pancakes on Saturdays, or any number of other things.

Tomorrow, Saturday Feb 6, all are invited to help move-in and lend a hand to empty the hangar of boxes etc from the hangar and move our stuff in. There will not be a lot to move but this will be a great chance to see our new clubhouse. Dick will have coffee ready and Ron will bring donuts – just look at that, we are already having fun! The hangar is a bit of a mess right now however we will have it looking great in no time.
