NO open hangar day on July 02

With the 4th of July holiday, the BOD has decided to not have the 1st Saturday, ‘Open Hanger Day’, just in case some of you were anticipating having ‘breakfast and a movie’ with all of our pilot friends… sorry.

There will be a Board of Directors meeting, on July 06, at 18:00 at the Pizza Roundup.

Description: Mr. Irwin Fust, CFI, and FAASTeam representative will discuss his tips for flying around the mountains of northern CA and southern Oregon. Mr. Fust has flown his 65 horsepower Aeronca “Chief” aircraft to all the mountain airports he will discuss. He has 17 solid, comprehensive tips for safely flying in the mountains. It is suggested that you bring something to write on and write with to note what his tips are so you may review later on.

Lincoln Airfest on Saturday

Don’t forget that it’s the Lincoln Airfest on Saturday. We’re cooking a pancake breakfast from 07:00 to 10:00, and we’ll be selling raffle tickets for an hour’s flight experience for two, as well as volunteering for the ground handling.

Open Hangar Saturday 6/04, Pancake Breakfast; 08:00

We’ve decided to have the 1st Saturday of the month as ‘open hangar day’.

Come have breakfast, Dick Rupe’s ‘famous’ coffee and talk about aircraft stuff, served from 08:00 to 10:00 at hangar S12.

The usual pancakes, sausage and eggs will be served for the usual $5.
(note that all meals for our 18 Gold members are free – you could be one too!)

So, come join us at the EAA hangar, in the North most gate, #4. See you there, rain or shine.!
