July 20 Member Meeting, 18:00, hangar S-12

Besides of usual ‘dinner and a movie’ and a presentation by Kevin Finney about powered parachutes, the Board of Directors has proposed some minor changes to the chapter bylaws.

These changes need to be voted on by the current 2016 members only, either in person or by email proxy. You can email your vote to Jim, if you will not be at the meeting. The new bylaws document was emailed to all members on July 13th.

KLHM runway and taxiway closures 7/18-22

The Lincoln Regional Airport has received a grant from the FAA for a pavement rehab project that includes some crack sealing and striping.

Pursuant to FAA Advisory Circular 150/5370-2F, the work for this project will require a one day runway closure.

Runway 15-33 will be scheduled to be closed on July 19, 2016 to July 20, 2016. Intersection and various taxiways will be closed and back-taxiing on the runway may be required. Work is scheduled to take place July 18, 2016 to July 22, 2016.

A NOTAM will be issued by the City 72 hours in advance each time the runway and/or taxiways are to be closed. The above dates are subject to change due to weather or other conditions. Please check the NOTAMs before commencing any airport operations.
