Project Corner – Brandon’s S-21

It’s a big day when an aircraft project moves from the home garage to the airport, for final assembly. And one of those days when ‘many hands make light work.’ On July 30th, chapter member Branden Culp’s RANS S-21 Outbound project made the journey to KLHM from his home in Lincoln with the help of several chapter members, including chapter president Darren Coomler, Kurt von Salzen, and tech counselor Dan Masys. The crew helped Branden load a 26’ U-Haul truck with fuselage, wings, and other assorted airplane parts and deliver them to his port-a-port hangar at KLHM.
Branden’s S-21 is equipped with chapter member Tony Kasabasich’s Shock Monster landing gear. He is also patiently awaiting arrival of a new 180hp Titan 340 engine.
