Ray Scholar Update

by Hannah Treehan

Chapter Members,
I’m really excited to announce that on Nov 24th, I completed my first solo flight! It was the most amazing experience. I soloed early in the morning, and there was only one other plane in the pattern, so it was quite peaceful as well. I did 3 landings!

Since then, I’ve gotten signed off to solo to McClellan and back. And I’ve also begun doing my dual cross-countries; we did one to Stockton recently, which was really fun. Going forward, I’ll be working my way up to doing solo cross countries, and I’ll also be continuing to practice my maneuvers.
Once again, I’m so grateful to all of you for supporting me and making this possible for me!
