EAA Air Academy Summer Camp Opportunity
EAA 1541 2025 Air Academy Application
As part of our youth scholarship program, EAA Chapter 1541 will sponsor two young people to attend individual sessions of the EAA’s Air Academy summer camp to be held at Oshkosh, Wisconsin, this coming summer.
Fun and discovery combine for an experience that young people can find nowhere else but at the EAA Air Academy, a series of weeklong camps designed to introduce young people ages 14-18 to the aviation world.
The chapter has reserved two slots:
Explore Aviation Camp (ages 14-15) to be held June 28 through July 3, 2025
Discover Flight Camp (ages 16-18) to be held July 7 through July 12, 2025
Our chapter sponsorship provides tuition and a travel stipend for each young person. Participants stay at the EAA Air Academy under the direction of EAA counselors for the entire session. Experienced aviation instructors help them delve into flight through studies, hands-on demonstrations, flight simulation, and other exciting activities.

As a parent, if you are interested in having your young person be considered for this sponsorship:
- Download the 2025 Air Academy Application
- Complete this fillable application and save as a .pdf file.
- Attach the pdf file to an email and send to eaa1541@gmail.com with the message subject line as “2025 Air Academy Sponsorship Application.”
Deadline: Application MUST be received by Chapter 1541 not later than Saturday, February 15, 2025. Our scholarship committee will make selections based on the application and other evaluations.
