About 20 members and guests of EAA Chapter 1541 attended Andy Bibber’s presentation on his Cessna T-50, also known by Andy as “The Bomber.” Andy provided a ton of information on his T-50, explaining how this airplane saved Cessna from certain bankruptcy at the end of the depression. Because the T-50 has a wood main spar, there are only about ten or eleven T-50s still flying. After Andy’s presentation inside the EAA hangar, everyone went outside and Andy did a walk-around talk about the airplane. Guests were able to inspect the interior of the airplane. The Bomber is a cool airplane with a lot of unique features. Andy, thanks again for your presentation.
