End of Summer Fly-In at Red Bluff on Saturday, September 24th

The Tehama County Aviation Association is sponsoring an End of Summer Fly-In at Red Bluff Airport on Saturday, September 24th from 08:00 to 15:00.

This is the first in what they hope to be an annual fly-in.

There’s a new and well received restaurant on the field (Leigh & Val’s Wings & Wheels Restaurant) for breakfast and lunch. Along with the fly-in there will be an FAA Fast Team Safety Seminar from 10 AM to 12 noon – the topic will be “Preparing you and your aircraft for winter flying”.

As an incentive to fly out, there will be a $100.00 cash drawing for fly-in pilots. Also, for those who would like to visit the Tehama County Fair that day, Irwin Fust will be organising transportation, call him to book transportation at (530) 351-8203.

Work party, to install roof panels in the EAA hangar

On Saturday, Sept 10, 09:00, we are needing a few folks to help install the 6 replacement roof panels to replace the leaking fiberglass panels.

Jack White will do the roof work, but we need a few folks as material handlers. We will have a scissor lift to get Jack and 1-2 other on the roof. the others will be on the ground .

As a ‘thank you’, we will provide our ‘famous’ breakfast for the work crew!
