EAA 1541 Young Eagles Flight
From the President:
I just want to thank everyone who helped to make our first Young Eagles program a huge success today! I believe we flew over 19 Young Eagles. To see the smiles on the faces of kids today and their appreciation was nothing short of fantastic!
It’s my understanding that our breakfast was not only delicious but was also very much a success. I know we had at least 2 new members join our chapter today. If you were not here today you missed a great event and I hope you can make the next one. Again, my heart felt thank you to all the members who worked on this great event! The kids will never forget it. See you next month with all the final numbers!
We’re posting pictures of the event.
Young Eagles on Saturday
Saturday July 19 marks our first chapter Young Eagles event. The event will start around 07:30 and should only take a few hours to complete. We will also have the BBQ’s fired up for pancakes, eggs & bacon. We hope to see as many of you as possible, and, most importantly… we really could use a few more ground volunteers for the Young Eagles. The duties will be simple, and the kids are reportedly very much looking forward to the day. By all estimates, we should be done well before noon. You only need to drive to the north end of the airport and look for the crowd near the large hangars by the street, but the exact address is: 1878 Flight Line, #1.
See you on Saturday!
