Frank will be taxiing up to Hangar 21 (The new green hangars. Please park on the ends so there is room in front of the hangar.) at 7:00 PM sharp to show us this exciting experimental aircraft. Frank will be giving a presentation after he finishes with the shut down. No doubt you have seen this amazing plane flying over the skies of Lincoln. Mark your calendar for Oct 16th, and you might want to be there early in the event we are treated to a Fly-by before the meeting! Bring a fellow aviation enthusiast for this fantastic presentation!

Bonus! The chapter will be have special raffle – yes, you guessed it, a ride in the Cozy Jet! Don’t miss out!

Saturday flyout

The RVators have a flyout on September 28th:

“This Saturday the plan is Bridgeport, CA, the identifier is O57, from there we will walk about a half mile to the Pizza parlor, it’s not a bad hike, I was up there about two months ago and the food was pretty good!! There is some pretty high terrain between the Sac Valley and there, I usually fly to Truckee first and then Minden and then direct Bridgeport, that seems like the best route. We will meet on the ramp at 11:30 or in the air on 122.75, if for some reason the weather is not good the back up will be Lodi. Hope to see you there!!!”

Saturday flyout

The RVators have a flyout on September 21st:

“The next meeting will be hosted by Dave Holman on Saturday September 21 starting at 11:00 a.m. in Mike Palmers Hangar at McClellan Airport (MCC) Food and drink will be provided.

Flying in: (Check notams to see if a temporary tower is in effect). If landing on 16, land long. It is 11,000 feet and the exit is taxiway K, (Kilo), turn right off the runway to his hangar, it’s about 600 yards on the right, (it’s one of the old shade hangars).

If runway 34 is used, Kilo taxiway is a short landing and you will be turning left off the runway at Kilo.

Driving Directions: This airport has security, so from I-80 exit on Winters Street, go North, turn right on Dudley, then turn left on Forcum. Continue on Forcum about 1/4 mile until it ends at the gate.
Using the call box, press the letter Z until you see the name Holman, press call and wait. The call box will ring his cell phone and he will open the gate. Dave’s cell phone is 916-223-2040 if there is any trouble.”
