This is an audience participation event. After a brief Audio/Video presentation we ask “What Would You Do”? Everyone is encouraged to join in the discussion. Videos depicting actual flights that encountered challenges are chosen from a library provided by EAA . Pilots of all skill levels are encouraged to attend. Come out to the EAA hangar at the Lincoln Airport Saturday February 1st for a menu including scrambled eggs and potatoes (O’Brien and Tater Tots) with a choice of ham, bacon or chorizo. We will also have shredded cheese, guacamole, sour cream and salsa that individuals can add.
For a healthy alternative we will have a bowl of fresh fruit and an Oatmeal Bar, with a couple of fixings people can add to the oatmeal.
All are welcome for our (suggested) $5.00 breakfast that will be served from 08:00 until 09:30.
The monthly chapter Board meeting begins at 10 and all are invited to sit in as we plan upcoming events.

Our next membership meeting is Wednesday, January 15th, beginning at 18:00 at Cattlemens Restaurant, 2000 Taylor Road, Roseville.
Dinner is optional but available.
This month’s program is about spatial awareness and vertigo, by our own Dan Masys (MD).
We are also in the process of collecting 2020 chapter membership dues: $20 for renewal; $25 for new members (pays for name badge); $30 to renew family membership; $35 for new family membership; $300 for Gold Membership (ask about this if you have an interest in this sustaining membership).
If you can’t make it, you can always pay here via Paypal.

Our January BBQ Lunch and Program on Saturday 11th will feature our famous BBQ Lunch with all the fixins ($6.00 donation) starting at 11:00. At 12:00, we’ll be watching the EAA monthly chapter video and an explanation of where you can now fly without ADS-B out.

Our first IMC Club meeting of 2020 will be held this coming Wednesday, January 8th from 7:00 – 8:00 pm in the chapter hangar at KLHM. This month’s special topic will be the unusual characteristics of the instrument approach into Yuba County airport (KMYV), and our video “what would you do?” challenge will be about a flight that encountered more than a little bit of winter fog.

All are welcome for our (suggested) $5.00 breakfast that will be served from 08:00 until 09:30. That’s right, last pancakes on the griddle at 09:30 so come early and often for a fun, relaxing morning.

The Lincoln Regional Aviation Association will be having their last display day of the year on Saturday 21st, from 08:00 to 12:00. We won’t be cooking pancakes, but they’ll have coffee, and quite possibly donuts.
