The Watsonville 50th Anniversary Fly-IN is on October 11th and 12th.
Pilots arrivals / departures
We don’t call it the Watsonville Fly-In for nothing. It’s a REAL “Fly-In”! Unlike other events with a “limited number” of slots for general aviation pilots we partner with Watsonville Municipal Airport to ensure Fly-In access, during non-waivered airspace, for the entire weekend.
There is no need “pre-register” in order to arrive at KWVI; just check NOTAMS and prior to arrival check this website for procedures and frequencies. Remember there is no landing fee, and if you are flying in there is no Admission fee! Gives new meaning to “Free”-dom of Flight”.
You will be greeted upon landing, parked in a secure area near or on the ramp, and directed to Pilot Registration/Guest Services. Want to compete in the Aircraft judging… there is a fee, check with Pilot registration.
