The Ford Tri-Motor (5-AT-B “The Tin Goose”) is a historic aircraft that will be present at Yuba County Airport January 5 – 8, 2017 for viewing. Visit this amazing event and see the aircraft safety features and crew coordination that was incorporated into this first mass produced airliner in the U.S.

Les Sanders and other professional aviation individuals will be present to answer questions and discuss the many safety features that was built into this very early airliner at a time when air travel was considered a luxury. (First production 1925)

DART Awareness & Safety Meeting Announced

The Lincoln Regional Aviation Association (LRAA) is forming a Disaster Airlift Response Team (DART) at Lincoln Regional Airport. The LRAA is proud to join the growing network of CalPilots and EAA Chapters across the state of California who are forming DART operations as a prime mission of their organizations.

The LRAA will be hosting a DART Safety and awareness meeting Saturday March 25, 10:30, at the Lincoln Airport. The focus of the meeting is to introduce DART, its mission, and general operating guidelines. Everyone is invited to participate. This will be a great opportunity to learn about DART, and enjoy a complimentary lunch!

Last Day to buy Xmas Party tickets is at the Board Meeting on Wednesday

Our party will be combined with the Auburn Chapter 526 party, which is also at Cattlemens Restaurant on that day.

It will be a more fun event and a chance to meet some of the Auburn members, or say “hi” to those you know, since a number of our members are also members of 526.

So, please wear your 1541 member badge so that our Auburn friends will more easily know who is with 1541 vs 526.

In order to clean up the record keeping for the Lincoln Regional Airport, we are asking all hangar and tie-down occupants to fill out the attached form and return the form to the City no later than December 23, 2016. The form requires contact information and information related to your aircraft. We require this information to comply with tax requirements, to ensure we are abiding by FAA regulations, and for security purposes.

  • A 30 minute tail wheel lesson in Andy Bibber’s T-Craft, or a 30 minute ride in Andy’s open cockpit N3N biplane. Your choice!
  • A 30 minute ride in Wil Gottenberg’s open cockpit Stearman biplane
  • A 60 minute ride for two passengers in Bruce Estes’ Cessna Cardinal or a ride for one passenger in Bruce’s RV6.
  • A new copy of “Flight-100 Years Of Aviation” This is a beautiful book that retails for $50.
  • A framed print of “Rare Bear”, autographed by the artist.
