September IMC/VMC club meeting at 7pm PDT on Thursday, Sept. 3rd

Our September pilot education online meeting will have two “What Would You Do?” scenarios.

  • The IMC scenario is a night flight to an unfamiliar airport, where due to fuel concerns the IFR approach that leads to the airport is abandoned and the visual approach is unsuccessful in identifying the runway.
  • The VMC scenario is a sudden inflight asymmetric flap problem.

August IMC/VMC club meeting online on Thursday August 13th at 7 pm

Our pilot education meeting for August will have two “What Would You Do?” scenarios. The IMC scenario is a day IFR flight in a pressurized single in IMC conditions and subfreezing temperatures that encounters icing conditions at 19,000 feet near the Great Lakes.

The VMC scenario is a Super Cub tow plane just out of annual inspection that experiences partial loss of control on approach to landing.
